Swarm Apprenticeships supporting Apprentice, Harry

Swarm Apprenticeships is a Norfolk based apprenticeship training provider with a difference. Swarm helps small businesses take on highly empowered apprentices whose roles will have a dramatic impact on the business growth.  By mixing classroom based training and business mentoring, Swarm uses the innovative Enterprise skills apprenticeship to develop a more commercial and entrepreneurial attitude in apprentices in business. It’s not just about focusing on helping the apprentices gain a qualification but more on how they can stand out from the crowd and go that extra mile in making sure they can make a big impact in their role.

 

The Enterprise apprenticeship qualification covers all aspects of the business ethic, challenging the status quo in a positive way, enabling young people to discover their inner innovator and how to deliver a return in investment with confidence and conviction.

 

These big roles need equally big shoes to fill them and Swarm have to be equally innovative in the search for that individual who is potentially one in a hundred and has the attitude to really make a difference from day one.

 

One such person was a young man called Harry Fabb who contacted Swarm and now works at Technical lighting Solutions as a Technical Sales and Marketing Apprentice. Harry’s personality, work ethic and willingness to learn have made him already to be seen as a key part of their award winning business.

Technical Lighting Solutions are an award winning European market leaders in the supply of LED lighting solutions to the entertainments, televisions, restaurants and architectural markets. Their products can be viewed through most leading restaurants and pubs across the country, TV shows, Music videos & festivals, some of the most prestigious buildings across the Europe as well as night clubs.

 

Harry's role within TLS is primarily Technical Sales and Marketing; Harry is in the process of designing and building a new website for TLS and is solely responsible for the development of our online sales system which has been an instant success. Within the Technical Sales side of the business, Harry has already started building up new business and developing great relationships with new and existing clients. Through the past few months, Harry has thrived on the responsibilities and opportunities given to him; this has allowed him to grow in confidence, maturity and develop as a person.
