Norwich for Jobs is changing lives by helping local young people aged 16 to 24 get into work.
Whether you are a young person looking for job advice, an employer looking to recruit or an organisation able to offer support young people we can help.
Make a real difference to a young person’s life. Norwich for Jobs is a network of local employers, charities and organisations volunteering with the aim of getting young people the skills and experience they need to get into work.
The project continues to go from strength-to-strength having been launched in 2013 and helping well over 1000 local young people into work. Norwich for Jobs has a track record of providing real, practical help to young people through job club workshop sessions, CV and interview skills advice, employer talks and visits, work tasters, work experience, mental health support and more besides.
Employers working with Norwich for Jobs can earn bronze, silver, gold or platinum awards for participation. A group of Employers meet bi-monthly to discuss support mechanisms for employers and young people alike, best practice sharing and key topics such as mental health and wellbeing.
This Norwich for Jobs website includes information about the programme and its aims, success stories from employers and young people who have benefitted from the work we do, details of the awards scheme, latest news, details on getting involved and of course an opportunity to get in contact with us and to make a real difference to a young person’s life.
